Typical hunting wellingtons insulated with 4mm thick neoprene lining. They have a removable insole, the sole is specially reinforced which stabilizes the ankle and makes it easier to walk on uneven ground. The zipper fastens from ankle height and there is an additional snap closure at calf height. Rambouillet wellingtons are lightweight and comfortable for longer hikes, the solid protector prevents slipping on rough terrain.
