Durable Water Repellent is a good solution that is not as effective as a membrane but serves a different purpose. The Kamko fleece is quiet and does not rustle when moving. An additional advantage is a number of functional pockets. Two on the chest and two on the sides are zippered. Finally, there is a thumb hole in the sleeve.
