The boots feature a waterproof SYMPATEX® membrane covered with 2mm nubuck leather lining. This ensures an elegant look and longevity for this model. The high 9-inch upper makes these boots ideal for more difficult terrain and demanding fishing grounds.
The boots are insulated with 400g Thinsulate® from 3M, which is why Gateway recommends them as comfortable down to -15 degrees Celsius. A number of modern technical solutions increase safety and walking comfort. The G1Forefoot max flex system stabilizes the foot, and the memory foam insole supports us when walking in difficult terrain and ensures foot safety. The Lynx ICE Grip sole improves stability on slippery and wet surfaces.
Another solution that improves the comfort of the Estate Beater model is the Speed Lacing system. We can lace or unlace our shoes instantly and effortlessly. The laces are loosened by lifting the knob upwards. As we have already emphasized, nubuck leather adds elegance.
