Fenix PD40R V2- 3000 lumens LED flashlight

Fenix PD40R V2 flashlight is a new model of compact and handy hunting and trekking flashlight, made of extremely durable and lightweight aircraft aluminum. Compared to the previous model, the new PD40R V2 has a relocated on/off switch, so we can put the flashlight on a stiletto and illuminate, for example: the inside of a tent or a pulpit. The new rotary switch is extremely functional and handy. The clip gives us the ability to attach the flashlight to a belt or backpack so that it remains within easy reach. Thanks to its extremely low weight of less than 200g together with the battery, the flashlight is perfect for such attachment.

The PD40R V2 flashlight emits a maximum light output of 3000 lumens at a distance of more than 400 meters. At the same time, it offers as many as 4 operating modes plus a flash/strobe mode. In the low 30 lumens mode, the flashlight's operating time is up to 4 days.

The flashlight is powered by a 21700 type cell with a capacity of 5000 mAh, which is almost twice the capacity of a traditional 18650 cell. Of course, it is possible to power the flashlight with a traditional 18650 cell after using an ALF-18 adapter. The PD40R V2 also has a battery level indicator and a low voltage warning. A glowing LED for 3 seconds after turning on the flashlight indicates the following battery level:

• LED flashes green - 85-80%
• LED glows red - 50-25%

• <25%

The flashlight has an integrated USB-C type charging port, which allows charging without removing the battery from the flashlight. We can charge the flashlight from a computer, car charger, powerbank or mains charger. The charging time of the 21700 battery is 3.5 hours!

The flashlight has a high protection class IP68, that is, it is resistant to immersion in water up to 2 meters for 30 minutes and also to dust and dirt.
